Default Crankshaft Variation Re-learn problem

My car is a 2006 C6 Corvette Coupe. Mods are EPP blower cam, AFR 205's, Maggie MP112, Comp cams timing chain, Full Bassani exhaust, and Yank converter.

The cam was put in and advanced 2 degrees per Bob's instructions at EPP. So basicly the car thinks the cam is out of position which is true. The problem is now I'm throwing a P0341 cam position code. The shop that did the build tried to do a crankshaft variation re-learn with a Tech II. The car wouldn't accept it. Is it possible to do this with HP tuners? What else could be wrong?

I'll post up pics hopefully later today. There appears to be a very big difference in the bossing on the cam gear between the stock and Comp cam timing chain. The bossing is what the cam sensor reads as the engine is running. Can some confirm if they are supposed to be the same?

Heres the pics:

Stock cam gear:

Comp cams set the EPP sent me:

So I guess I have to have the motor torn apart again. Is it a 4X reluctor timing set what I need?

Yes it is a 4X timing set you need from Comp Cams. They sent you a pre 06 ~LS2 1X set.

Is it actually running with the 1X LS2 Cam Gear?

It runs, but cranks excessively. I was told because its throwing the code the computer doesn't know where #1 is. So it cranks till the computer figures it out. Once it starts it runs pretty decent, although its not fully tuned yet.

The thing that frustrates me is that I was in contact with EPP several times during my build and kept getting told I had the right timing set, Which I don't!

Cloyes has one that looks like the one I need. But they are calling it an LS7 timing set
