Default L92 forged pistons, ????

starting to plan out and gather parts for a 6L stroker+turbo build.
I want to gather some info on pistons.

My ideal piston would have a dish with a shape that exactly matched the L92 combustion chambers, to take full advantage of both quench pads.

I know Mahle makes a piston that will work, but I cant find a picture of it anywhere. I would prefer to use Mahle pistons, unless some have had problems with them.

Does Mahle offer a custom service?

Thanks Joe

Mahle makes coustom wrist pins, they're not the ususal. So if they ever need to be replaced . . . like what I'm going through, it's a little expensive.

Most of the other companys make L92 cut pistons, or just about any machine show will fly cut them for you.

Diamond, JE, and Wiseco all make pistons for use with the L92 head. Mahle may but I'm not sure.

I got a set of Wiseco's for my build and L92 heads, and I am sure Mahle does as well.

Mahle are good pistons, but I prefer Je, Wiseco, Diamond, CP, or Race Pak. Just my $.O2

Any of you guys running hi-compression/dome L92 pistons? What type of compression ratios are available for "off the shelf" pistons? Thanks.

Diamond and JE both have pistons available up to 12.5:1 depending on chamber volume. However the shelf pistons are generally for stroker applications when getting them from JE.
