no way you can stay budget for boost that much you need lunati crank and rods and probally a coated piston you can save 300 and buy a used block its getting bored out anyways and you can buy 72cc #317 heads they flow enough stock for turbo cars

Would not do anything bigger than 4.00" crank in a high nitrous or big boost motor. Piston is to weak for that type of cylinder pressure for anything more. So, you are limited to a 414" (4.060x4.00) You can do a "budget" build with that, but what is YOUR budget
Crank$800-$1000
Rods $600-$800
Pistons $600-$800
Depending on whose parts you use

Then fasteners, rings, bearings, cam, lifters, rockers, springs, locks, retainers, etc...You can do a nice forged SHORTblock with machine work for @ $5K that can handle @ 1000-1200HP (not counting top end)

How much boost, and w/300 shot....insanity! I would get the block and heads machined for 1/2 studs to say the least. You are going to need a good head w/ thick deck surface to keep them from lifting. A good AFR or Allpro head.

Callies crank and rods should hold the power and a good deep dish diamond piston that has coated skirts and top.

I would say 8.5cr would help.

billet dowled main caps

Depending on the boost I would say this is going to be a short lived build. Your asking a lot from a 4bolt per cylinder block.

Why not just build it for a 300 shot and save a LOT of money?
or
Why not just build it with one BIG turbo?

I dont understand a small turbo and a BIG shot. Im no expert so I am just asking for my own general knowledge.

Thanks,

Yeah, it has happened. BUT, would I risk it? Nope. Spend all that money and time building a motor, and use a stock factory crank is pretty silly. You want to go out and play @ with 600 or 700 HP, yeah, OK, a stock crank is fine. But, if you want more power, to try and stretch a stock part like that to save a few pennies (on a build that is gonna cost you a bunch anyways, cause let's face it, it is NOT cheap to make 1000 HP) is not in my cards.

There has been a few articles with different mags on a build you are talking about. they did teh 6.0 Block, added a forged crank, rods and pistons (nothing exotic, some used Eagle, some used Scat, etc...) and with just shelf parts, went out and made a 1000 HP and more. You could put a shortblock together like that (as I said earlier for @ $5K) and put some L92 heads on it, hydraulic roller, put ya a 91-100MM turbo on it, and make 1000HP.
