Default low power, new cam?

Mods are in the sig.

I only made 491/459. Now, this is through a stock (MTI) lid, stock MAF, and with cats. Suggestions?

I've seen cam only LS3's making 450-460rwhp.....

Did you loose power with this cam? If you did go back to old one. I don't think your power is too bad. When I added a gm 85mm massair I gained 10hp back to back. I'm sure your cats are choking some power aswell. I had a custom 248/256 cam and swaped it out for a lg motorsports g6x3 cam(smaller) wich lewis told me would make better power under the curve with no topend loss. he was right my car picked up alot 35lbs tq under the curve. An electric cutout added 22hp to my numbers too.may want to try the fast toys 85mm lid with the new massair. goodluck to ya.

First cam I've had in this motor.

Power seems low to me... To be only 30hp over a cam only LS3.... when I've got a LS3 427 with big cam and head and every other mod too... Doesn't seem right to me.

I picked up dual e-cutouts so i can run open headers (before cats), though not sure how they affect the power...
