Default Cam Question

im looking for a cam for my ls1 with a gross lift around 600+ and a duration around 290 any suggestions?

I will assume that you're looking at advertised duration. What are you looking for specifically from the cam? Are you wanting some nice mid-range and top-end, something more on the stealthy side, or the baddest you can get? I know that you listed desired duration, but if you give me a better idea of what you're looking for from a cam I can better help to make a recommendation.

I just want a cam that is gonna have just a sick lobe to it and sounds mean as hell with my exhaust. Also to create quite a bit of power

Are you running a stock LS1 short-block with stock heads? Let me know so I know how much clearance we'll have on piston-to-valve.
