Default ls7 lifter restrictors are the needed ?

building a solid roller ls7 engine ,using morell lifters somebody told me i should use a restrictor for the lifter for this aplication ? I belive the morell lifters are not restricted .I always thought on a solid roller you wanted as much oil as possible on the cam and lifters ? any advice would be great

I know some builds that have run restricted push rods on HYD Roller set ups. LSX motors pump a lot of oil up on the top end. I don't think you want to restrict the oil flow in the gallies but through the push rod to the head and valve train. Go to the Hard Core Tech site and ask for ERIK or try the Texas section for him. He will know. I' m wanting to find out for my build also.
