Default Where can I get a stock L92 shortblock?

I've been looking around, and can't seem to find one. The places that I've found that do have L92/LS3's won't sell just the shortblock to me. Any suggestions?

I'm just looking for a low budget aluminum motor to fit some L92 heads. I have a LQ4, but I don't want to use it. I figure I could sell my stock LQ4 longblock and buy a stock L92 shortblock. I'm not really aiming for a certain scr...I guess stock or higher will work. I also like the valve reliefs in the L92 pistons, that was another plus.

the l92 does come with intake vr. im using cathdral prt heads.
easy to cut in vr in your own own garage with simple tools and a pair of oversize valves. although the dish in a lq4 does allow for better ptv clearance than flat piston as is.

I would cut my own vr's but I don't want to pull my heads apart and I don't have the dial/caliper thing to measure. I think at this point, it's too late to get my heads milled, so I need less cc dish. How much did you want for that shortblock anyway?

Oh ok. I found a new L92 shortblock, but it's out of my price range, I may see if I can find some pistons that will work with L92 valves and give me the compression I want. That'll come later I guess. I'm gonna just see how things work out with the LQ4 the way it is.
