TSP texas giant cam.. anyone seen any good results?
Just curious if anyone has seen good results and drivability from this cam
I have afr heads and a 402 with a fast and am leaning towards putting this cam in.

I ran that same cam in my 402 all day and mad 530-540 hp all motor. It also made almost 700 rwhp on a 150 shot. I would def choose that cam if you are trying to make over 500 rwhp. Call Jon Reynolds at TSP and hell set something up for you.

I am running a cam thats almost the exact size and it makes GREAT power. I have been very pleased with my build. Hell my cam is a 248/254 .614"/.623" on a 110. And my car pulls like a ****.
I have an LS2 403 Stroker with stock LS6 heads, FAST 92/92, PS LT's, TSP TD's, and a stage 4 4L60E trans. with a Yank ss4000 stall, and the stock 10 Bolt with 3.42's and I managed to run a 10.99 at 125.61 mph with a 1.659 60' This was N/A. This was also in 80* weather!
I would say go with it and don't look back. Or maybe even go a little bigger. My driveability is awesome! And to be honest I thought it would be terrible, and other than the lopey idle and the big stall, It drives like stock!
Good Luck

I don't have any dyno numbers, But I do plan on getting some this coming month sometime. I'll update you when I get them.
It's a pretty Basic setup really, and 1 that makes great power all through the powerband. LMK if you have anymore questions.

For a l92/ls3 headed 408, I'd look into a custom grind cam or if u want an off the shelf type cam, an LG Motorsports g6x3 cam IMO would be nice.
Those heads flow great on the intake side, but need more help on the exhaust side. I'd contact a Sponsor such as Ron at Vengeance, PatrickG or PredZ for a custom cam. Or theres a few other places that can help spec a cam. IMO the tsp giant cam won't do very well in the engine with L92/LS3 heads.
Good Luck

I ran the LG G6x3 cam in my l92 heads and it sees to of lost power from my old cam. I am selling it. It was a nice cam,but I need the power back. Patric G is doing a custom cam for me as we speak. He has a sheet to fill out for your needs and will match what ever you want that cam to do.

I will have to say, That it has been proven over and over again that the L92/LS3 top ends are a little tricky to get a cam to work well with. But when properly matched/built, They run their little hearts out.
Any cam specs or rough cam specs if you would like to keep them secret?
