Do a sleeved block and never look back. I've done a number of these and have not had a single failure even in all out racing applications. Look at your overall cost of the build. I think you will find that the sleeved block is only a few percent of the overall cost and worth the insurance of a good strong block should you opt for more power later. Just my .02.
