Default Possible head lifting at WOT???

In normal driving no issues, a couple of WOT gear ***** no issues but at 1/4 mile run and mile run issues.

The coolant is being forced out of the rad and into the res tank. A 1 mile pass almost fills the res tank. There is NO smoke and car runs great up top no popping, smoke, nothing.

There was a small scratch on the head from shipping. I don't remember which side. Everything is torqued to specs. ARP head bolts.

Only thing I can think of is pulling the heads off, milling a thousand or two and new head gasket.

Please don't say cracked block, I think its in the heads or just a stupid cap? Note cap is new and rated to 18 psi...

If you are running Cometic gaskets that small scratch could be causing you problems. I doubt the heads are lifting, it may just be pushing through at high RPM.

Could be an issue with the head gasket, that is what its sounding like to me.

Thanks guys. I thought this is the case. I am using .030 cometics. Its so hard to imagine that the small cratch could push that much air into the coolant system.
