Default Comp R lifters

Just wondering what preload you guys are running on these lifters I know comp says .002 to .004. What happens if I run the .060 that I normally run on ls1 lifters on these??

Dont think you could run 0.060 if you tried. They are designed to limit plunger travel to a total of 0.010 or so IIRC, and thereby prevent excessive leak down or "collapse" at high rpm/high lift/high spring pressures.

0.060 on a factory lifter is simply a spec for the long term so that the lifter can see out 200,000 miles without running out of "adjustment" and also cater for temperature extremes from -40 to 250F.
