Default Will a 4.125 stroke clear an f-body pan and windage tray???

Like the title says.

Will a 4.125 stroke (Lunati) crank clear an f-body oil pan and windage tray?

Rods would be 6.125 K1 H-beams.

With a 4-inch Lunati crank I had to space down the windage tray a touch and mod the front of the pan. But, this was with Lunati H-beam rods and I heard they take up more realestate.

What say you?

Not without modification, no. My 4.100" Compstar crank needed the tray spaced down and the front of the pan clearanced.

Default 4.125 stroke

I had to put spacers on the tray. The Pan cleared fine for my 4.125 crank.
I used the Lunati pro rods.

The last gen III I built using a 4.125 crank (Cola) and H-beam rods (Lunati IIRC) required shims for the windage tray. However the front of the oil pan needed to be grind down to clearance the 1/2 counterweight. The clearancing all but ground through the pan, leaving mabye .010 to give .090 clearance.
I welded a small patch of al. to the bottom of the pan to reinforce it.

Mine was hitting the pan with one of the ARP rod bolts on Eagle 6.125" rods.

Good deal. I have a fabbed Canton pan so I can "clearance" it easily. and spacing down the windage tray is easy (already had to do it a bit with the 4" stroke.)

So I might as well build a 454 LS engine then (4.185 bore x 4.125 stroke)

Thanks

Had to shim the crap out of mine and modify the pan a little but im using Lunati pro billet 6.125 rods that pull the bolts up on the sides more than the eagle's.
