Default 228/.240 lift- .571/.590 lobe- 113.0 with L92 heads?

I have a 08 single cab truck and have a 6.0 out of a 07 2500 and just bought a set of l92 heads. I wan to install this and have a 228/.240 lift- .571/.590 lobe- 113.0 cam available. I have a cold air kit, lts and catback. Will this work well or go with a custom grind. Its my dailey driver.. anythoughts

Thats a large cam for a daily driver truck with L92 heads. Is the truck going to be used to tow anything? Keep in mind with heavier vehicles the low end power loss of larger cams is felt even more.

pretty sure the L92's will hafta be shaved down to get the compression where it should be... SLP has a package with the heads shaved down and a 216/229 cam...

With that weight I would go tighter split or even single pattern to get more low end yet still make top end grunt.

Quick Reply: 228/.240 lift- .571/.590 lobe- 113.0 with L92 heads?
