500 whp head and cam ls2
Hello,
I have an 05 c6 6speed and i was wondering which head and cam package could get me at the 500 mark at the wheels? And if I could do this for around $4,000 with labor included?
Thanks.

LG Motorsports has made 474 rwhp with the L92 and L76 Intake with the G6X3 Cam package ....I would imagine with a Vararam intake and a aggressive tune , I would think that you could achieve your goal extremely close for the $4000.00
here is there Dyno

Idk if 4k will get you there. all your valvetrain would have to be upgraded, not sure what size injectors are on your car, and i would atleast do the racetronix fuel pump with hotwire kit. You maybe could get the parts for 4k but dont see it happening with labor. There are so many things that you dont think about until you tear it apart, head bolts, head gaskets etc.

GMHTP featured a build on a C6 with a LS3 that made 515 to the wheels. Big cam, WCCH L92's, LT's with full exhaust, stock L76 intake setup. Found the link:

Looks promising for a 6.0 with maybe a Fast, and full bolt ons. You would be high 400's anyway.

TEA Trick Flow 225 heads 2395. One of Ed's Cams Street Sweeper $450 and push rods $140ish....LS7 lifters $130ish. $3120ish without tax and shipping. You would need one hell of a labor deal. This would be 500rwhp. I really wish I did my own build after all is said and done. I am sure there are some guys here that would love to help you out for beer and BBQ. After the build you still need a tune. Good luck with everything let me know how it goes.
