Question Questions on Dampers/Harmonic Balancer

A few quick questions about dampers....

Are the Trans Am dampers the same as the LQ4 dampers? I was told that the cranks are the same so that would lead me to believe they are.

I will be getting rid of the A/C so if the dampers that I get happens to include A/C provisions, would it cause issues if I don't hove the belt? I know it sounds like a strange question, but I'm not sure if the missing tension from the unused A/C belt would cause problems

Also, what is the aprox increase of HP with the 10% and 25%? IIRC the 10% give 7hp what about the 25%?

I am looking at the following dampers, which would you suggest?

SLP Harmonic Balancer Underdrive Pulley LS1 F-Body

Chevrolet LS1 Camaro SFI damper Power Bond Firebird

Pontiac GTO LS1 25%UD Powerbond SFI Harmonic Balancer

Thanks guys!

The truck LQ4 balancer stick out further than the F car balancer. They are not the same.

The extra A/C grooves do nothing

Worth maybe 7-10 hp, maybe.

OK so if I am putting the LQ4 in my Trans Am, and I will be using my Trans Am accessories, then I can use the Trans Am damper on the LQ4...right?

Yes, plus you need to drill and tap one hole in the left lower front of the block for one alternator bracket bolt. There is a boss with no hole. Other than that, you should be fine.
