Ok i have ls3 heads, and a texas speed 225/230 .617/.614 cam, i'm gonna order patriot gold springs but i dont know if i need part 8401 or 8401-b???
says the 8401-b has .565 ID spring bases, i tried to call them but the tech dept is at a show and wont be back till next week. anyone have any idea? thanks

never mind ....broke out the heads and gauges...they are going by valve guide dia. i needed the .505 ones!

you'll need .505" Those springs should do just fine with that camshaft. Back in the day before we drastically upgraded our spring kit line we used the same spring as what your looking at. They lasted pretty good at lower lifts like that & should be good for a solid 30k miles.
