Default 12:1:1 comp on a ls2?

How do you get your compression up to 12:1:1 on a ls2. Say I had tfs 225 how much would I have to mill them. Could I still use a 236 cam?

You'd need 57.5cc combustion chambers to get 12.1:1 on LS2 flat-tops. I'll tell you what everyone else is going to tell you about the cam though and PTV clearance in general: you're going to have to clay it. It's your engine and no one is going to want you to stake your engine's success on their opinion.

I understand that I will have to check ptv. It SHOULD clear but it still needs checked. How about if I had them milled to 59cc and used a .40 cometic gasket. What would that put me at. Is there any advanced to that vs straigh milling to 57cc?
