Ive read that people have had to grind down the Harland Sharp 1.7 Rockers to fit AFR 205 heads. Is this true? Anybody know what is all involved in making them fit?

Anybody know if the Yella Terras will fit without clearancing anything? Ive gotta get rid of these harland sharps now.

I have the YT Ultralites with 1.7 ratio on my AFR 225's and they fit fine, no grinding on anything and the valve covers fit fine too.

I have them on my AFR 205's as well. I did need to shim them to get a good wipe pattern and then needed to clearance inside the valve covers but they fit the heads fine. You need to obtain the correct wipe, then measure for the pushrod to get the correct lifter preload.

I can't speak for AFR's but I know that even LS2/7 1.8-1.85's need to be grinded just a little on the corners for clearance sake. Not a huge deal....I'm talking .001-.002 off just a couple; not all of them.
