Default Reluctor wheel swapping

I need to swap reluctor wheels from my LS1 crank to the L92 crank. Where is the alignment mark? I looked on the L92 crank and do see any kind of alignment mark, unless its behind the wheel. I don't have it off. And yes im well aware of the Lingenfelter box but would rather not drop the coin on that

There is no alignment mark. The reluctor is indexed from the dowel hole in the crank flange and a similar hole in the reluctor wheel at the 120 degree position.

There is a tool to support this indexing. You could mark the existing wheel up and then transfer that marking to the other wheel to get it aligned back to the crank or find a local shop that has an alignment tool.

After you index it and are sure, put a tack weld on it to be safe.
