Default Take a look at this and tell me what you think.

Look at about 5900, I was told could be possible valve float. I just want to see what the consensus is. Thanks in advance.

My first LS1 did something similar at 6100 RPM but I dont have the graph to show you i dont know where it ended up. I swapped out the springs as a precaution but on the dyno it didnt make any more power

It looks very much like valve control related issues....

Sorry i should have been clearer. Yes it fixed the curve but it dropped the power down where yours starts to go flat and peaked the same. So instead of spiking and going flat like yours it actually sort of made less power but it did so smoothly rising with no funny looking graph/drop/flatspot. I hope that makes sense

I see what your saying. Well I have basically been calling everyone I can think of and they are saying the springs. I am being told the springs that the TFS's came with don't have enough seat pressure. Which is kinda a shock because my cam is not all that big (VRX-5). Which really sucks considering how much I just spent on these heads.

Yeah valve springs are a pitfa thats for sure. You have to stay on top of whos the flavor of the month. PAC's are good both the 1518 single beehives and especially the PAC 1521 duals they are excellent. Of course the Patriot Golds are also very good and pretty darn cheap too considering what comes with the kit. PSI M1511's single beehives are also very good quality but only rated for .600 lift.

I'd run the PAC duals if your over 230 duration but if your under .600 and less then 230 I'd run the PSI or the PAC singles.

Yeah I am kinda set on the PAC 1521's. I am just trying to find exactly what the differences are between them and the ones on the heads now. The 1521's have 160#'s seat pressure, while the TFS's have 150#'s. That and I was able to get the open load pressure of the 1521's but not the TFS's. So the hunt continues
