I dont remember the exact t-rex specs but I am pretty sure the l92/ls3 heads want more exhaust duration compared to intake than the t-rex has. Alot of cam specs I have seen are .010 or more toward the exhaust and I dont think the t-rex has that.

Definitely the wrong cam for the LS3 heads if you're looking to make best power.

No way it would fit without deep valve reliefs, but even if you had the P to V clearance, the T-Rex has entirely too much overlap to work well with an LS3.

Add a bunch of timing and set your idle at 600rpm...

in your sig it says you have a g6x3. Thats about the best you can get for the ls3. If you want more power have fasterproms (jeremy formato) port your intake and tb.

I have a friend with a trex in a LQ9 with L92's. That thing runs good. Went 11.3x NA thru a stalled th350. It now has a 6 speed and is going to get dyno'd monday. I'm waiting to see what it makes for power.

I didn't get to go to the dyno last night to witness it but he put down 435 RWHP.

LQ9, Stock L92's, LS3 intake. 1 7/8 headers and a Trex cam thru a speed and a 9".

If you could get the compression up, and have room for the TREX, it wouldn't be a bad cam. The big intake valve of the L92/LS3 heads doesn't leave much room to play with though.

Just for the record, the G7X4 cam that is so popular with LS7 guys, is a TREX on a slightly wider LSA....
