Default What's New @ Precision Race Components!! New Cathedral, LS3, LS7 & Specials!!

With all the recent talk about "new cylinder head" stuff going around online I thought it would be a good time to tell everyone how the PRC castings compare to the competitors' cylinder heads.

Cathedral Heads:

We are currently expanding our cathedral cylinder head lineup to include off-set rocker, big runner cylinder heads. While we currently offer and stock the PRC 215, 227, & 237cc cylinder heads, we will also be adding several off-set rocker 245 & 255+cc runner configurations very soon! The rocker arms will be offset to remove the pushrod restriction of the conventional location.

As always, the PRC cathedral heads will feature stock-length valves and a PRC double spring kit with TITANIUM RETAINERS. All of the PRC cathedral heads will, as always, accept factory GM rocker arms without any issues. With stock-length valves, you don't have to worry about excessive valve weight causing valvetrain issues at higher RPM.

The current version of the PRC 227cc cathedral head is available in both small chambers (small bore) & large chamber configurations. The small chamber 227 cylinder head is the same head currently being run on the TSP 9.66 heads/cam record holder '98 Camaro.

We've recently updated our chamber configurations and will now be offering both the PRC 215 and 227 cylinder heads to clear our Tsunami, MS3, and MS4 camshafts without requiring valve reliefs! Just specify when you place your order!

LS3 Rectangle-Port Cylinder Heads:

As everyone knows, we're currently working to wrap up several different aftermarket casting LS3 port configurations. We expect to have three different ports available in the upcoming months! These cylinder heads will allow for different chamber sizes & piston-to-valve clearances, allowing our customers to run a wider variety of camshaft configurations!

THE LS3 RECTANGLE PORT WILL BE PRICED THE SAME AS THE PRC CATHEDRAL HEADS!!

LS7 Rectangle-Port Cylinder Heads:

Recently, we've been working on tooling to begin PRC LS7 cylinder head production. As with all of our PRC castings, we will keep the pricing very affordable. Look for these combos to price out similar to the current GM LS7 casting PRC ported heads!

Below are some screen shots of our CAD data for everyone to checkout!

As always, you can count on PRC to sell our heads with the best components possible in our standard package. We will not be offering PRC cylinder heads with steel retainers or other cost-cutting items in an effort to confuse the consumer. PRC heads come standard with double PRC springs, stainless valves, titanium retainers, bronze guides, and are decked to the customers' specs!

PRC cathedral heads are currently priced at $2399 per set fully assembled with all the best components. ($1200 per cylinder head) The heads are available without spring kits for $2,150 ($1,075 per head) for customers looking to move over their existing spring kits.

For a limited time, we will be giving an additional $200 off all PRC cathedral aftermarket casting cylinder heads!

We have PRC 215,227, & 237 heads in stock and priced at $200 off! Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.
