If you eliminate the torque management function, you may reduce the life of the transmission. I am in the opposite situation, my wife has an 05 GTO, I just put on a TVS 2300, I am trying to reduce power in 1st (to reduce tire spin at the dragstrip) and in 4th (because 4th is very weak on the 4L65e)

If you purchase HPTuners, you can increase/decrease/eliminate many parameters, including torque management.

I just got it, and I can assure you that it is very easy to learn, and somewhat addictive.
