I've heard two different stories about L99 valve springs. That they are the same as LS1 valve springs because they have the pink stripe, and I heard that they are a different spring from any LS spring altogether. I ask because someone offered me their low mileage L99 Valve springs to put on my LS1 since I'm getting the heads rebuilt. Does anyone have a clue of what the specs are on the springs?

The l99 spring is better than the ls1 and is the replacement part currently. Rest assured the spring is better and will work fine on a stock ls1 cam.
