Default LQ4 408 Build (Need opinions)

Hi, just bought a lq4 bored .030 yesterday. I bought it to build a forged 408. It is going into a 1970 firebird with a th400 and a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. I want to run a 2500 stall and rev the engine up to 7000rpm. My goal for the engine is 500rwhp. Now i need help with:

1.) How much static compression to run with a carb and 91 octane. (10.5:1?)
2.) How much dynamic compression to run? (8.0-8.5?)
3.) What cylinder heads to run under a budget? (stock L92's with hollow valves?)
4.) What camshaft to run with the victor jr, single plane?

Thanks, any help will be appreciated!!!

That looks pretty good for 2500. The only thing I can help you with is the heads, get ls3 or l92 heads with hollow valves. They usually around 700 on here new. They flow considerably more than other stock heads and most ported heads.

Yea i was thinking hollow valves, so i won't have valve float issues at 7k rpm. The only thing i am nervous about is selecting a cam i'll be happy with for the L92 heads.

In all honesty, if I were you, I would have Pat G spec you one. He did for my project. I have yet to see the end result-hopefully in a couple weeks, but he told me I should see 500-510 RWHP on an honest dyno.....

I've read a bunch of Vic Jr vs FAST intake threads

You're going to want to have the cam specked for the Vic Jr intake, that seems to be the failure switching FAST 9X to a Vic Jr intakes. Doesn't matter weather it's fuel injected or carbed.

If you haven't looked through the 408 results in the dyno forum (linked below) you can build quite the parts list for what you're looking for.
