Wow, I haven't updated this thread in forever.
Long story short is my SLC has been in the interior/audio shop all Spring and Summer. The shop is doing a phenomenal job on the interior. I have progress pics but I want to wait to post them.
Materials are genuine Alcantara, leather, and Porsche carpeting. Analog gauges and hidden stereo/hvac switching.
Here it is at the shop:

I spent spring and summer driving these:
My Z06 has a 500ci ERL ls7 w/Mast 305cc heads, Fast intake, etc. It dyno'd 615rwhp/575rwhp SAE corrected on the same dyno my SLC dyno'd 684rwhp.
The Z pulled on my 911 from a roll (and I short shifted the Z at 5500), but would be annihilated from a dig.
I almost put the Harrop Ls7 intake (drive by wire) on it, but decided I had too many project cars going on at the same time and sold it last month. I think it would have done 650rwhp plus with a Harrop and different cam.

To win it big in the lottery would be sweet. I'd clone this build. lol

On The Tree
Nothing like a serious, no expense spared build. I do exotic, money no object, builds at work. Seeing one with an LS is great. Keep up the good work, looks like a top-notch project. BTW, if you ever want to build a Bull, a Ferrari or your Porsche, pm me. Frightening power is a phone call away...

Man that's a beautiful car. I was familiar with the FFR GTM, but not this one.. def. going to have to do some research. If I ever build one, it would be hard for it not to be this one..

I'm really pleased with the work Stephen and his team @ Lux Motorwerks are doing with the interior. It's been a long time coming as they've had SEMA builds and other projects that were tying up their shop this year. Stephen has been a pleasure to work with and get to know.
I bought the fiberglass version of Fran's tub, modified the dash for traditional gauges, modified my doors for custom interior handles, and decided to eschew the traditional head unit and connect a BT dongle to a Focal miniature amplifier (1.8lbs) to use my phone as a wireless source.
I asked Stephen to model the theme after my Cayenne & 911 interiors. He is using genuine Porsche carpeting, Alcantara, and leather.
Besides giving him these parameters (and a couple of others), I gave him creative license. He's been very collaborative and communicative throughout the process.

Great build Roberto. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on the holley hp ecu that you're using. I've a similar engine with the same intake and am at the ecu selection stage. Any advise would be appreciated.
Cheers

Zero complaints on the Holley ECU. It's been rock solid reliable and it's super easy to tune. The factory Holley support has been stellar as well once you get past the hold times.
I would buy it again.

After 4 years of building, not being satisfied and starting/redoing the build over, 5 pair of seats, etc, etc, my car is juuuuuust about finished.
The main things open:
1) Reupholster steering wheel to match Alcantara.
2) Install the Nardi shift **** (I have 2 to try out).
Stephen, Barry and their team @ Lux Motorwerks did a fantastic job creating the interior and final touches on my car. They were a pleasure to work with and I appreciate the attention to detail they applied to my SLC.
I requested they create a clean, timeless interior and use my Cayenne as inspiration.
Highlights:
1) Porsche carpet
2) Porsche leather
3) Porsche Alcantara
4) Porsche door handles
5) Tillet B5s reupholstered
6) Phass separates
7) Focal amp (1.5lbs)
8) Lightweight 6.5 inch JL subwoofer- hidden in passenger footwell
9) Bluetooth to use either phone or tablet as source
I'll post more pictures once it's completely finished and detailed, but here are few for now:

That is easily the most badass, professional looking "kit" car I've ever seen. Very good job. It looks like a genuine low volume production super car.
I love it. If I ever have the money to build something like this, that is for sure the model I would want to build!
