Default lq9 ls7 or ls9 cam?

I wanna stick the stock ls7 or ls9 cam shaft in my six liter...
I seen specs early...for the ls9 211/230 555/555 on a 116 lsa
I know i know its small...but given the the split it would be a great nitrous cam which is what i'm looking for...does anyone know anyone doing this? results?
or see one for sale?

I doubt you'll get anyone with results. There are better cams out there than that for some spray.

A tr224 would be a good DD cam compared to those cams.

I've seen people use the C6 Z06 cam with good results on S/C cars. It will do the trick on the spray if your primary goal is more exhaust duration.

You can probably find one used for cheap.

Those LPE cams are also good with like 116-118 lsa's that would make you stealthy AND VERY STREETABLE if that is what you are looking for too.

that's quite a bit of lift on the lpe cam...but that's the ball park i'm looking at split wise...any more info would be greatly appreciated thanks guys...and I've been poking around on the ls9 someone told me the pick up is in the front so i have to convert to a ls2 timing cover and timing chain and move the cam sensor to the front...truth?

If you have a gto you already have the ls2 front cover.

Well we didn't get those details in the beginning.

Scoggin Dickey has the ls9 cam a little cheaper but more than likely shipping will catch up to speed inc's price.

Also I can't remember if the ls9 and ls7 cams are single bolt or not. You might want to check into that.

224 doesn't have much of a lope and it won't be noticed with quieter exhaust, also it loves spray!

A TR224 on a 114 and desired idle raised to 900 rpms = No Lope

Ask me how I know

Hell, with yours being 364 cube it will eat up a TR224 more so you might not need to raise the idle.

Since the car is not on the street no more. That cam in a 3830 raceweight f-body with stock 3.23 gears and port stock heads, 3200 vig converter on a 150 shot went 10.53 @ 133.4 mph. It was a true street sleeper and made us alot of money until everbody caught on. Oh, and catless corsa.....HA. We had no lope with an open cutout

i was really looking at the 02-04 z06 cam because of the split....207/218 that would be prime for nitrous
