Default 4.190" bore and big N2O shot?

I've got an ERL Superdeck I 4 bolt with 1/2" studs short block that I'm thinking about replacing my 427 with. It's a 4.190 bore and 4" stroke....441 cubes. I want to shoot it with a 400 shot and my concern is will I have head gasket sealing problems, especially between the bores? Don't really want the hassles with oringing. Anyone out there with success on a 4.190" or 4.185" bore and big shot of N2O?

I would recommendto go smaller bore like 4.155 or 4.165. You will be alot better off.

Look at cometic gaskets, then make a steel shim gasket that dose not need o-rings, they would be prefect for what you are trying to do.

Dont start off that big... You will have no room for clean ups when you hurt something. Start out with a 4.155 bore so when you hurt it or freshen it you have the room.

The only way I would try this without oringing would be if the Chevy LS9 gasket was available with a bore big enough. I don't believe Cometics are up to the job but they are probably the only MLS available.
I just don't know if it's gonna take a double oring or what and a copper gasket. I got this short block for cheap with the 4.190 bore so I'm trying to make the best of it. Besides, the big cubes is good in my book if I can make it live.
