Question L92 setup camshaft suggestion

What camshaft would you suggest for the following?

LS2 engine
L92 heads milled .020 With a standard thikness gasket
Flycut diamond pistons - no PTV issues with big cams -
Fast 102 intake and TP
100 or 150 shot

By the way its on a manual F-body

Are you running the standard thikness head gasket? And do have any dyno numbers for your setup with and without Nos?

230/238 .600/.615 112LSA +2 running running endurance lobes from Engine Power Systems on the intake and LXL lobes from Comp on the exhaust to reduce valvetrain noise and increase stability. Really strong cam for NA and on the N2O.

Way too much overlap for L92 heads. It would not perform as well as you'd think. Excessive overlap does nasty things on L92 heads. Overcamming is the devil.

Thanks for your help everyone but i'm getting very confused There are lots of l92 setups out there and many of those guys running similar setups share positive feedback but when it comes to chossing the right camshaft it feels like those heads realy narrow the choices to a very limited selection.

Can anyone running such setup share the camshaft and dyno numbers please?

I spec over 500 custom camshafts a year with over half of them for L92 heads. I have an extensive track record including many national records and hundreds of satisfied street customers. I charge $25 for recommendations and I gave you a profile recommendation you'll love for free. What else do you want? If you're looking for a consensus, you won't find it here because too many people are as confused as you are. Seek advice from an expert you trust and go with it. For what it's worth, not all of them post here.

dont go to big on the split, I like 4-8 deg tops. I would flycut and go mid 230s intake and 240s exhaust. I have used a 248-256-106 with manifold and carb and it was an animal and drove well, the plastic intake is the problem.
