Mine flowed 287 @.400 after Tony was done.

I don't think you'll be able to find anything better than a good ported LS3 head as far as price goes. Should make plenty of power as well with a proper cam.

Take a look at those heads. I know they are a little more pricey then a stock casting but with the smaller runner and smaller chamber I feel it would work pretty well for a road race motor. Give us a call and we can go over them with you.

Yup, one of the reasons I went with them.
Just a few pics I have of their work.

for price you cant go wrong with a ls3 casting head, weather it be stock or cnced. cnced should make about 30 more hp over stock ones. i have Texas speed CNCd ls3 heads that have been milled on my 418

I agree. He could maybe run the AFR 215 head(if everything else was perfect), but in the real world with the AFR230 V-2s would probably be a better choice for his hp goal.

Don't forget the PRC 250cc aftermarket casting heads either! They offer smaller runners while still making big airflow! The result is a head with awesome velocity & a potential to make power across the rpm band! Do you want a 350+cfm runner that is 250cc or 270cc?
