Default LS376/525hp...Anyone have any experience???

I am new to the LS1 TECH forum, and looking for some advice.

Curious if anyone has any experience with the new GMPP LS376/525hp?

I am building a restomod 67 Vette and had a LS376 w/ Hot Cam planned until I saw the 525hp (ASA Cam) variant.

Wondering how the LS376/525 will behave on the street? BTW: I have a TKO600 w/ 3:73posi and 26" tires. I dont race, just like to blend old school looks with modern technology. Looking to have a fun and driveable car.

As you are not planning to race, curious why would you want to use an iron block when there are so many aluminum options for LS available? Seems like an LS3 might be a better option for what you are planning.

the LS376/525 is an aluminum block...

I have ran the carbed version and the engine is totally streetable.
