Default New build V 2.0

After I had my car put together by people that sucked and it didn't last 2,000 miles I am about to do my next build. This is what I am planning to build is a new LS3 418 SDPC short block with a new ED C cam. I plan on using the parts that I already have there is just a few questions about what I should up grade.
Is the gains going to be worth the money spent.
SS Kooks 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 for a set of 1 7/8 to 2"
Fast Ported 92mm and Ported TB for a 102mm Fast ported/102mm TB and 100MAF
Is the 42LBS injectors going to be enough would a KB boost a pump work.

Camology Professor Ed C Cam

Gross Valve Lift 1.70 Ratio: .602” .602”

Duration @ .050” Tappet Lift: 244* 248*

I went with 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped kooks, reason being after all the reserch I did that even 1 7/8s primarys seem to be to big for our engines to keep the velocity at a optimal rate. most engines dont see over 7k and the intake wont support the airflow that the heads can push out anyways resulting in mid range power loss for not much power up top.

I feel comfterble I made the right choice I even saw maryland speeds dyno test of there 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8s headers making 15 more hp on the top end over a set of regular 1 7/8s. I think 1 3/4 to 1 7/8s is optimal for velocity and expansion into the stepped primary and also with only running 3 inch collectors the 1 7/8s are probably overkill because the 3 inch collecter will now become the choke point, thats IF you are running true duels, if you are not then your y pipe is always going to be the choke point even if you move to a 4 inch single.

I think 1 7/8s to 2 inch headers are for all out 460cube lsx engine with solid rollers and making 7k plus rpms with a aftermarket Intake manifold and no exhaust running strait headers. sometimes bigger is not allways better

imo i would go 1 7/8s not trying to start a debate but from what i have seen in person there is gains to be made on some setups by switching to 1 7/8s , on my big cam car i will be swaping to those when i get new heads

stick with the stepped headers. no reason to move to larger ones. 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 will do just fine on that motor.
