CA smog emissions. I plan on installing the two piece timing cover to swap in a bigger one later. I figured the stock heads with the small cam and stock ls1 intake manifold would not hurt the 416 that much. If I were to go with a real big cam the intake and heads would hurt me a lot more I would think as I would reach the limit of flow for my setup as is.
