Default Crank question

I am building an L92 for my 93 Camaro and running a 2000 ecu and harness. I had previously bought an LQ4 to build but found an L92 for cheap. Instead of running the conversion box for the 24x conversion I was going to swap the gears on the cranks. Later found out that is is quite the project that involves special tools to do, so can I use the LQ4 crank in place without modification in the L92?

The crank would need to be balanced for the L92 bobweight.

I'm thinking they both would need the conversion box the PCM is for a 24 tooth reluctor. What year is the LQ4?

ERL or Katech rents the alignment tool I think.
Can't remember where I saw it.
GM sells the 24x wheel seperate.
Any machine shop can do the swap.
