Default needle roller cam bearings

Just curious really. Are these just normal needle rollers ? Are there any special types required ?

I might need my cam journals line bored as I'm still not 100% happy with how the cam feels in the block, and previously cam bearings have walked.
So are there any downsides to fitting needle rollers instead of metal bearings ?

Ive found some for sale locally. 55mm ID which should suit the camshaft ?

63mm OD, is this a safe bore size for the block ? and 20mm or 28mm wide ?

Will boring to 63mm affect oil flow past the cam bearings and down to the main journals ?

i have never seen those before and dont know anything about them. I have had some experience with neelde bearings in the form of the pilot bearings. I must say that i never install needle bearings, even if thats what i removed. I always switch to a bushing. I guess what im saying is it would really suck if the bearing fell apart and the needles went into the motor.

Not sure on the sizing of the bearings. Roller brgs have been used for years in engines. They usually are found in high rpm apps. My R block Ford has rollers for the cam brgs. I haven'nt seen a LSX block done.

As I say, just fishing for info. Sourcing cam bearings in the UK is impossible, and it's a ******* pain in the hole buying everything from the US.

And if I did have the cam tunnel line bored, the standard cam bearing set is going to be no use. Which will then add to the hassle of sourcing bearings.

Obviously not an LS, but here is an install. Doesnt state specific bearing types or part numbers though.
