Cool New LS2 build with LS3 heads in a fbody..guess hp inside!

After a bad knocking sound in my forged 347, I'm letting go my LS1 top end refresh and going with this:
-LS2 GTO stock SB(30Kmiles)
-230-236 629/629 cam
-hand ported/milled LS3 heads from New Era
-stock LS3 intake/42lbs injectors
-92mm TB
-SLP 85mm MAF
-LID
-TSP stainless 1 7/8 & ORY
-Lunati double springs(650lift)
-GM rockers with trunion upgrade
-M6 3:42 on stock 10 bolts.
-Monster level 3 clutch with lightweight flywheel
-18inch heavy wheels
-TR6 for a 100 wet shot(down from 150 because of stock SB)
-Racetronix pump kit
-Double row timing chain/gear
-conversion kit for LS2 stuff

What should I hope for? I'm thinking 465rwhp if everything goes very well..but what about torq? 440?

Some folks have hit 500rwhp with that setup. I would get a custom cam speced to reach your goal rather than using an off the shelf cam. Good luck with your build..

I maybe would have gone bigger, but I think some cams in this ballpark are getting great numbers!

I would be extremly happy with 475rwhp!!

Are you gonna be running the stock pistons? If so I would make sure your going to have enough ptv.

If your compression is 11:1, you will be making 480 rwhp and above hopfully and the torque will be between 420 to 450 rwtq.

You will love it specially when you shift on the 2nd gear, it is has wounderfull feeling with the g-force...
