Default What is needed to make an LS2 24x into a 58X?

OK guys, This is a great forum which has inspired me to put an LS into my 70 GTO. So here goes my first post.

I've been doing tonnes of reading and I need to change my reluctor wheel to a 58x to make my 6l90 work.

Other than the 58x wheel/crank sensor and the 4x cam sproket is there anything else I need to switch?

Any help here is much appreciated. I need to get this done in a hurry.

Thanks,
Woody

You'll also need a Gen 4 timing cover so that you have a place to put the new cam sensor for the 4x sprocket, a drive by wire pedal, and an E38 or E67 PCM.

Well guys thanks for the info. I will add those parts to my shopping list.

I will be posting pics of my build shortly. I figure I may as well contribute to the knowlege base here.

Make sure you spec the right 4X cam sprocket...there are 2 from GM, one for a 1 bolt cam and 1 for a 3 bolt cam. If you want it for a 3 bolt cam, order it for something like a 2008 LS7. If you want it for a 1 bolt cam, order a 2010 Camaro LS3 sprocket.
