The ls6 & ls3 have a higher lift cam ratio than the ls2. 550 lift for the ls3 & ls6. If you are going to go larger don't even think about using them.

Have no intention of using them. I have Patriot Golds on my vette and truck. Just trying to sell them. Everyone wants the LS6 springs. Not much interest in the LS3 and LS2 springs. Just thought someone might know if there was a difference. Guess I might call my friendly neighborhood parts man and see if the numbers are the same.

LS2 = LS6 from recent checking. I have found sources on this site rating them at .580 lift, but sources from GM rating them at .570. Can't say on LS3 springs.

Yes, the LS2, LS3 & LS6 springs are all the same. Even the later model truck engines have the LS2 heads on them with the same spring.

Hey im hoping i can get some good answeres seeing as the mechanic who changed the cam in my mates ls3 is an idiot... when they changed the cam they left pretty much everything else around it stock and he wasnt very specific on what the sizing of the cam was. Its been pushing roughly 480kw at the flywheel but now im pretty sure 1 or more valve springs have broken, just seein if i can get some info on what the best valve springs are to replace these ones with ? thanks

What cam do you have? That idiot probably left the stock pushrods too!
