Default ALZILZIL RACING - Bulding RHS 491 tall deck

Hi , , , ,

the first time we built this engine for a customer with Hydurulic roller camshaft Bullet racing custom , Actually i forget the duration but it has 640/640 on 1.8 rockers ratio

Stroke 4.500
Rods 6.300
Bore 4.165

Heads Are Mast LS7 305 intake runners

It pulled 640rwhp N/A and 1000RWHP with two stages , Fitst stage was 300 through direct port system , Second stage was dry 100HP through one nozzle .

Motor Has 13:100CR

Tall deck 9.750

Now customer need more power and we got him Custom Solid roller 770lift with 1.8 ratio 282/298 114LSA Cammotion from Late model Engines ( Thanks
for Bryan Neelen for help )

We done the shortblock , After measuring we seen it needs 9.350 pushrods length

Also we changed to solid morel lifters , Comp springs 780lift

Engine should be ready when pushrods come in .

Let me know if you have any questions ......

Thanks in Advance , Alzilzil .

Numbers n/a seem low for the cubes and the compression to be honest. Certainly nothing to brag about. 491 cubes and 13:1 should make a lot more power than that

The torque number is pretty impressive. I would of thought a little more hp also but the long stroke motors don't seem to perform. Did I miss what intake was on it?

He didn't even list the torque number. The 640/640 was in reference to the lift of the hydraulic cam.

Let's see what info he comes back with. Maybe it's through a large stalled auto and it could have a ls7 manifold choking it down. It probably would have made peak power at a very low rpm if that's the case. I would love to see a dyno graph, I'm sure the tq is through the roof.

opps I miss read the post. I will disagree about the long stroke motors. When I was building my 454. I talked to eric at hke and he talked me out of doing a unsquare motor. Erl has the 500 and rhs has the 502. I have not seen any of them out perform the 468 on the track.

Erik does them all the time, he has a 503 going into a magazine and he himself will tell you cubic inches are cubic inches unless your talking about a power adder then he only likes so much stroke due to the piston strength..
The 468 is his build as well as the 457

Agreed but with 13:1 and 491 cubes at 640 rwhp even with a th400 and 9" isnt that good is my thought

I know that's low #'s on that 491ci and sorry didn't mentioned that in the first post , The motor running on a 2006 C6 ZO6 , We built many engines and give the customers the advices on which intake and exhaust systems they should run with , But he's running 1 7/8 headers and we told to run 2inch headers , We seen 40-50rwhp from 1 7/8 to 2inch headers on big cubic inch motors , He sprayed 400hp around 50 times on this motor and running all good , But now he need more power , We got him 2 inch headers and solid roller , He Should put down +750rwhp at least N/A , And gonna install second foggers kit on the fast intake .

Also the yellow ZO6 raced the fastest cars in kuwait and nobody can beat those cars , THE 491 beat them with 300shot

He has alot of fans too

No one can beat this porsche gt2 TT +1000rwhp , THE RHS 491 did it

With C6 ZO6 and two stages of nitrous 441RHS

with C6 ZO6 RHS 454

If you are still running it through a FAST intake I would be absolutely floored with 750whp. The fast is going to straight choke this engine.

I think some of you guys have no idea what you're talking about!

The car obviously has some restrictions before that they are dealing with now!

That is one bad *** motor!
