I am having my 408 built to put in my 02 f body. I have a question on which windage tray do i need to run, i will be using my stock ls1 oil pan, should i use the ls1 windage tray and will it clear the stroke.

Mast makes one it's listed as ls3 but note sure if it will work or is needed with the 408.

we are running a stock windage tray. spaced up the thickness of 2 washers under it.

Im putting in the improved racing baffle and it's direct bolt in. I pm'd Carry over at mast and they are $80 and waiting to hear more about how it installs and would work the exact same on a 408. Also if you want to utilize both oil pump pickup tube bolt holes BRP hot rod sells on for ls swaps for 25. Under g-body section.

Here's the mast tray on my 429. It clears up to a 4.25" stroke, you won't have any issues with it. (4.125 stroke pictured)
