Default Oil in antifreeze!! please help!

Hey guys, new to the ls platform engines. I bought an SS with a 408ci iron block l92 heads, l76 intake. Long story short, the motor lost oil pressure so pulled it out and the bolt fell out for the oil pickup tube. The only things i pulled of the engine that were sealed to it was obviously the pan, and then i pulled the water pump. Got the motor back in and checked the antifreeze level and noticed i've got oil in the coolant. Its only got about 30 min of run time and its all idling. Now, when i drained it, it was fine! What could be my issue?? I torqued the water pump and pan to specs! Im getting really frustrated!! Any input is appreciated!

Are you sure coolant just didnt spill into your pan while you were working on it? Coolant in the oil is usually a sign of a head gasket failure.

Sometimes these things happen ^. OP I wouldn't worry about it unless you are quickly flooding oil into the coolant system or vice versa. If it was just a little bit, no worries.
