What size engine, compression ratio, transmission type, gear ratio and approximate weight of your car? With this type of information we can give you a better answer.

With all of the bolt ons we have seen an average of 440-460 at the tire with a cam around that size. Sometimes they make more, but average is usually around there.

If its on a 2010+ Camaro then it's a smallish cam. If the lift was the other way around it would be a Lil more appealing cam lol 113 Lsa will be a Lil choppy, but what are you goals and intended purposes for your car?

That sounds like it should be a good street combo that will have a noticeable rumble. Most of the power will be in the midrange of the RPM which will make for great drivability.

If it's a 5th gen, it's amongst the largest camshafts that can be installed without having to flycut pistons. Also, the duration has as much to do with chop as the LSA does (overlap)...this cam on a 116 LSA will still chop hard. The lift is just fine and will work well with the stock heads.

MAtt,
How does the custom cam you guys specd for SUPER CHEVY ("Monster Mouse" July2012) idle ? Would this be a decent street cam for a TSP 417/PRC 250cc heads in a 3:42 rearend and 4L65e trans? Would it be to big for a LY6 with the lower CR & CID? I want to cam the LY6 untill I save the coin for the TSP stroker.

thanks,
Jim

TSP 0.644/0.6214 lift split, a 231/236 duration split and 112-duration LSA

9/10 you'll want the exhaust lift less than or identical to the intake lift. Really no reason to lift the exhaust valve higher than the intake in a stock head application or many others for that matter.

That cam in a heavy camaro will make killer power without sacrificing low-end or mid-range torque.

This is on a 2012 camaro. 440-460 seems like a really low number for this cam.

My goals are as much peak whp as I can get but still have some lowend and be able to keep it fairly street able above 2000rpm or so.
