Ok guys what are oil you running and why?

Would never run that thick of oil in a ls. if the clearances are correct there is no reason for it.

Just took mine appart and it looks great. lots of abuse this year

I know a bunch of my buddies who run rotella 15W40, from what ive seen it thins out the slowest on e85 vehicles. I had a friend of mine who had Amsoil thin out in a matter of 2 weeks.

If your tune is strait. E85 doesn't do much to your oil except soak up lots of condensation. But that **** just gets burned off when you get to operating temp. So use a catch can and drain it regularly.

I run the rotella 15/40 in my e85 ls7
