Default Push Rod length

Hello all,

I tried searching but didn't find an answer.

I am wondering what pushrod length I will most likely need for a cam swap. It will be a Torquer V3 in an LS2 with stock heads/gaskets. The lifters will be replaced with ls7 ones and springs with prc .675 EHTs. I ordered the push rod length checker and 7.400 rods, but would like to not have to wait on parts as I will only have a few days to install the cam, headers, ls7 clutch, injectors, BAP, and driver side axle in my 06 CTS v.

Thanks for your help!

Only way to know is to check. I'd rather wait on parts than have a noisy valvetrain that's beating itself to death.

^^Bingo! You really have to measure. There are too many variables to be sure of any guess. Anybody that tells you a length without the tool being in place is GUESSING.
