I been thinking about doing a head swap on my 01 trans am. it has an lq4 in it now with stock 243's and a cam. I have some lsa heads sitting around that i can stick on but i would still have to buy an ls3 intake,rails an injectors. I have a friend with some trickflow 220's i can get for cheap. Should i sale em an buy the trickflows or stick with the good ole rectangle ports. I want the best bang for the buck

Go with the trickflow heads.

any more opinions on this matter before someone buys the heads. lol ill keep em if the trickflows wont net me better gains

Lsa heads have the huge intake valve and on your 6.0 its not gonna be ideal. Go with the trickflows they are much better suited for your motor and you can have all kinds of upgrades done to them later on while still have a superior casting etc.

I read the thread this morning but forgot to reply but... Trickflow would be my choice no doubt, specially for that LQ4. Better #s and better build options.
