i'm from mexico and is a problem to me make the return so that is not a option
the roller rockers aftermarket are so expensive and i think for what im putting together that is not necesary(6.2 rotatting assembly,6.0 iron block,ls3 heads,xer287 cam, carb intake basically for my daily driven 1966 chevelle)
i see on comp cams an upgrade kit 16765-kit they have a retro style whit a studs and guideplates but i think is not avaliable anymore this one i think they fit becuse are a single roller rocker stand, now i saw another brands but i think no ones make for this aplication becuse all the roller rockers aftermarket sit flat in pairs.
i already send him a pm to Cwarta i know he has the same problem but no answer back
and yes when i saw that answer about the stand are backwards l laughed to much Cwarta becuse the first thing you do is putting the stand on ones side or the other
call 4 or 5 times to procomp electronics and nobody can give me a really answer
go to the machine shop and cant make it flat on the head is to thin the intake runner basically is there
heres more pics

Alright. Here is a picture of STOCK LS3 heads. As you can see, they are also "not flat" and the runner LOOKS like it will interfere with the rocker stands, and it WILL if the stands are not placed correctly.
Now I'm willing to bet that this is what you see when you try to install the rocker stands right?
Look carefully at the rocker stands in that picture. They are on backwards. On the bottom side of the rocker stand there is a machined bevel. THAT goes to the "outside" of the head.
Trust me, I've been there. It's so simple it's painfull.......
