Post question about l92 stroker kit and the heads?

hello, my engine have a major damage and i'm thinking instead of repairing the pistons and probably the crank shaft. can i install a stroker kit without changing my stock head? i'm not sure how it's done and i don't have enough experience.

this is the stroker kit i'm willing to buy: stroker kit

Yea but youre gonna want to have the heads checked. Valves springs etc.

Everything lol. Take it to a machine shop. The whole block needs to be checked and possibly cleaned up. New crank rods pistons bearings rings bolts gaskets balancing assembly

And the cylinders need to be honed to fit the new pistons. I recommend having the machine shop check the block to make sure it only need to be honed to 4.070" before buying that rotating assembly (besides, I'm not a fan of Scat parts). When you say the pistons had major damage, I cringe at the thought of what the bores might look like. I bet machine shop labor rates are probably more than you think. Honestly, if the old motor let go, I'd probably just buy an assembled forged stroker short block. Check out these from Texas Speed:
