Camshaft markings
So I just pulled out the cam on my l92 headed ls2. I'm not sure of the exact cam specs since I can't find the cam card would someone be able to tell me the specs and possibly what cam maker this is by these numbers?

Called comp cams they said it is a 231/239 113 the reason I was asking is because the cam has like 4 lobes that are pretty scarred up. I told them about it and they think its because of improper lifter preload that is causing te lifters to bounce when it's coming off the ramp. The lifter looked fine but cam was damaged. They said if I send it back they can regrind it for 125$ but it think at least 1 lobe may be to far gone.

That's interesting they said improper preload caused that. I have had 2 cam in 2 different engines have that same damages. One I did not setup, purchased it with the mods. The other I modded myself and was meticulous about making sure my preloads we're within factory specs for the lifters.
Makes me wonder...

I'm kind of curious too. I went with a different cam already but would like to know what happened to this cam. He also said something about ls7 lifters not being that great and that the stock l92 rockers could also be the cause. I will post pics up of the damage tomorrow.
