Default LS2 with LS1 oil pan

I'm installing a LS2 in a 67 camaro and it looks like the LS1 oil pan will allow for more clearance. Will I run into any problems using the LS1 pan?

It it happens to be an LS2 from a GTO be sure to knock out the freeze plug that blocks off the dipstick hole in the block while the pan is off as the GTO pan uses a dipstick that goes into the pan.

Remember to use the LS1 pickup tube & windage tray as a matching set.
