Do you have to have a ls3 core to exchange?

I'm finally ready for my short block and this mini stroker looks like a sweet deal as long as you don't need the core..

Can the components be changed? Some may want different parts and lower compression.

GM builds a stroker crankshaft? It's a 3.7" or 3.75" to get 388 with a 4.065" bore? That's pretty cool actually. Too bad you need a core LS3 block or else I'd do this over a 402.

Is this the same stroker that you used in the black GXP?
